Street Fighter V

Street Fighter V is the sixth main installment in Capcom’s fighting game series dating back to 1987. Commonly abbreviated to SFV, the game first released in February of 2016.

SFV initially had a shaky release due to its lack of content according to the fans, but since then has made itself a new growing platform in the e-sports world thanks to new tournaments like the Capcom Pro Tour that have sprouted up so quickly.

Despite some of the games shortcomings, it is renowned for its retro fighting style as well as its immense difficulty. SFV still maintains the signature Street Fighter Style of old that keeps competitive fighting game players battling it out in tournaments.

The gameplay involves having to choose from a classic roster of Street Fighter characters as well as a few new ones added in SFV. Two fighters are pitted against each other in a side-scrolling hand-to-hand combat match.

The highest earning player has earned over $260,000 in just over a year from the game’s release.
